On January 13, 1997, seven African American soldiers were awarded the Medal of Honor for actions performed during WW II. These soldiers have come to symbolize the remarkable contributions of all African Americans who served our country. Through archival ootage, veterans recount their personal experiences to bring their true stories to life.
